Learn by speaking, from the first minute
No long lectures. You walk into town, choose what you want to do and start talking.
Enter the town
Open the link on your phone or computer, pick your interface language, a name and a character. Mai at reception asks what you want to learn and shows you the way.
Talk to your tutor
Tap the mic once and speak. Your tutor understands you and answers in the language you're learning, with subtitles in your own language when you need them.
Get corrected straight away
After each turn, your sentence is corrected with a short explanation in your language. Good sentences go into your notebook.
Review just before you forget
Your notebook brings sentences back after 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days. A 10-minute daily lesson keeps your streak going.

An AI tutor that walks with you, like a private teacher
Your tutor walks beside you, points at things around you, writes key words on a floating board and takes you to the right place to practise. Ask about anything: job interviews, managing money, artificial intelligence, travel.
- Emma (English), 小林 (Chinese), 민지 (Korean), ゆき (Japanese), Anna (German)
- Tap the mic once; your tutor knows when you've finished
- “🐢 Slower, easier”, “Listen again” and “Ask in my language” are always one tap away

25 real-life situations, played by AI characters
Café, hotel, airport, job interview, a factory QC meeting, signing a contract, a construction site. Every situation has tasks to complete, model sentences and specialist vocabulary, in English or Chinese.
- End-of-session feedback on 5 CEFR or HSK criteria, plus an estimated IELTS band
- Specialist vocabulary for work: construction, manufacturing, business
Programs built for what you actually need
Every program follows an international exam framework. The last unit is a timed mock test scored against the exam's published criteria.
Fly to more than 250 countries and territories, with a local guide
Pick a country and your plane lands in front of its welcome gate. A local AI guide tells you about history, culture, food, work and study, and teaches you one phrase in the local language at a time.

IELTSFrequently asked questions
Does MOMIC cost anything?
MOMIC is free during the trial period. When paid plans arrive, early sign-ups will be told in advance and get an early-bird offer.
Do I need to install an app?
No. MOMIC runs in the browser on your phone or computer (Chrome, Safari, Edge). You only need to allow the microphone.
Which languages can I learn, and in which language is the app?
You practise speaking English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese or German. The interface, explanations, subtitles and feedback come in the language you choose when you sign in: English, Tiếng Việt, 中文, 한국어, 日本語, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português, Bahasa Indonesia, ไทย and Русский.
Is the AI tutor really smart, or does it just follow scripts?
Tutors and characters use large language models: they understand what you say, reply in context, correct the exact sentence you just said and can teach any topic you ask about. Fallback sentences are used only when the connection is slow, and they are labelled as such.
What level do I need?
From beginner to intermediate. A 5-minute placement test puts you at A2, B1 or B2 (English) or HSK 2–4 (Chinese); for Korean, Japanese and German you choose your level inside the program.
Can strangers hear me?
No. You can see everyone in town, but only people you invite, and who accept, can hear you. The server only relays voice between people who have connected. You can leave, mute or block anyone at any time.
Is my voice recorded?
No. Your voice is turned into text so the AI can understand and correct it, then discarded; no audio recording is kept. Details are in our privacy policy.
Who is behind MOMIC?
MOMIC (Mở Mic, 开麦) is a product and brand of BAT Ai (Công ty Cổ phần Tập đoàn BAT AI), a technology group headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam.
