Terms of use

Last updated 5 November 2026. By using MOMIC, you agree to the terms below.

This is an English translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Vietnamese version, the Vietnamese version prevails.

1. The service

MOMIC is a browser-based language speaking practice service provided by BAT Ai (Công ty Cổ phần Tập đoàn BAT AI), currently free during the trial period. Features may change; when paid plans arrive, prices and what they include will be published clearly before you buy.

2. AI-generated content

Tutors, characters and guides use artificial intelligence and can be wrong. Mock test scores, levels and bands are practice estimates and do not replace the results of official exams (IELTS, TOPIK, EPS-TOPIK, JLPT, JFT-Basic, Goethe, HSK, HSKK and others). Information about visas, work and study abroad is for reference only; check it with the competent authorities.

3. MOMIC is not a recruitment agency

MOMIC only teaches languages. We do not recruit, accept applications or take money to send people to work abroad. Anyone promising a “guaranteed pass” or “guaranteed job” in MOMIC's name is not us.

4. Behaviour in the community

  • Respect other people; no harassment, insults, discrimination or obscene language.
  • No advertising, scams, or asking other people for personal information.
  • No recording other people's voice or image without their consent.
  • No deliberately disrupting the service or getting around usage limits.

People who break these rules may be blocked, suspended or removed from the service. Report abuse with the 🚫 button on a user's card.

5. Age

The main edition is for people aged 16 and over. Children use Mở Mic Nhí, with a parent's guidance.

6. Intellectual property

MOMIC, Mở Mic and 开麦 are brands of BAT Ai. 3D characters are based on Microsoft Rocketbox (MIT licence); flags from flag-icons (MIT); reference knowledge from Wikipedia (CC BY-SA).

7. Limitation of liability

During the trial period the service is provided as is. We work to keep lessons uninterrupted (with fallback models and voices) but cannot guarantee that the service is always available.

8. Contact
